MACAO, June 14 (Xinhua) -- Chinese card game maker Kayou Group opened its first flagship store in Macao on Saturday, offering a unique consumer experience that combines popular IPs with the city's iconic landmarks.

At the store launch, a special edition transparent card featuring the animated film Tom and Jerry proved especially popular. Visitors could pose with the card in front of local landmarks, creatively merging animated charm with real-world scenery to craft personalized travel memories.

"I like collecting cards of My Little Pony because the characters each have unique personalities that match mine," said Yoyo, a Macao resident. "Now that there's a physical store, it's more convenient to get the items I like without waiting for delivery."

Zhao Chen, a Kayou staff member, highlighted the store's Macao-exclusive merchandise, including crossovers featuring Tom and Jerry and Tokidoki paired with local landmarks. "We're also showcasing popular Chinese IPs like our Ne Zha card series, which now comes in an English edition for global collectors," Zhao said.

"By bringing together beloved IPs and culturally rich destinations, we aim to provide local consumers and global tourists with a fresh way to experience Chinese creative brands," Zhao told Xinhua.
